As the specialty rehabilitation contractor, Tarpon Contracting successfully executed the internal structural wrapping of this massive asset, restoring its structural integrity and extending its operational lifespan by decades without surface disruption.
Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant Tank Rehabilitation
The Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (BPWTP) is a vital regional lifeline, providing safe, high-quality potable water to over 260,000 residents across Regina, Moose Jaw, and surrounding communities. As part of a massive, multi-year $325M+ Plant Renewal Project, the facility required extensive retrofitting to address aging infrastructure and ensure long-term structural resilience. As the specialty rehabilitation contractor on site, Tarpon Contracting was engaged to execute highly critical, precision internal repairs on the plant's concrete infrastructure, eliminating structural vulnerabilities without disrupting active water treatment operations.
