Herridge Feedermain CFRP Rehabilitation

The Herridge Feedermain, owned and operated by the Region of Peel, is a critical component of the Region’s water transmission infrastructure. Extending approximately 6 kilometres, the feeder main required significant rehabilitation after remaining inactive for two years and experiencing deterioration. The project became Canada’s largest Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) rehabilitation project, requiring a specialized approach capable of renewing the existing pipeline while minimizing the need for conventional excavation and replacement. Tarpon Contracting contributed to the rehabilitation using CFRP renewal systems and trenchless techniques, helping restore the feeder main to full operational service.
