The West Trunk Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation is one of the largest and most complex trenchless engineering undertakings in North American history. Serving Peel Region’s rapidly growing population, this critical wastewater lifeline required a complete structural restoration to combat severe biogenic hydrogen-sulfide gas corrosion. As the specialty rehabilitation contractor, Tarpon Contracting successfully executed the internal structural wrapping of this massive asset, restoring its structural integrity and extending its operational lifespan by decades without surface disruption.

Last month, Tarpon Contracting proudly served as the Premier Sponsor of the 24th Annual Chelsea Hotel Charity Golf Classic, supporting SickKids’ AboutKidsHealth.


This year’s event held special meaning for our team, as Junior Ambassador Cole is the son of one of our Project Managers. At just 10 years old, Cole was diagnosed with Stage IV Burkitt’s lymphoma and spent almost a year undergoing treatment at SickKids. Today, at 19, he is celebrating nine years in remission—a milestone that reflects his resilience and the life-changing care he received.


Cole’s story is a powerful reminder of the difference SickKids makes for children and their families. Through AboutKidsHealth, families can access trusted child-health information whenever they need it, wherever they live. We were honoured to join Chelsea Hotel Toronto, fellow sponsors, and participants in supporting this meaningful cause.
